Keno is a game of chance with a rich and illustrious background. The game that we are familiar with has experienced incredible alterations since its earliest creation. Gaming historians have followed its history as far back as 200 Before Christ to a Chinese type of amusement called ‘The Game of the White Dove.’ It’s a accurately-documented fact that a variation of keno was played in a bingo-like arrangement on the eastern seaboard just about the time of the huge Chinese arrival during the gold rush.
In its contemporary form, keno is a bit like bingo in that the pair of games are centered upon numbers. An individual keno card comes with eighty numbers and the player can choose as many as s/he wants. This is completed by marking them using a pencil. After the bettor has picked the numbers, he or she has to bring the card back to the person at the keno stand. The clerk will then provide a receipt after marking down the player’s numbers. It is the responsibility of the gambler to redeem any winning card before the upcoming round starts, so stragglers must remain alert.
Now that we’ve reviewed a little bit of keno’s compelling background and basic rules of game play, you’re almost certainly itching to discover where you can play keno on the web. And that is just a acceptable thing for an avid keno gambler. Rest assured you have many choices to pick from when it comes to some big-time web keno fun with all the thrills you might expect.
