Keno Tactics That Win

It may not ordinarily be looked at as the best game in the realm of gaming, but keno has millions and millions of zealous followers. And it ought to! It’s a constantly thrilling lottery-ish game that’s a snap to learn, abundantly available in tons of alternate formats, and one that might return mega-dollars for gamblers who master its limitless subtle rules. But let’s start with the basic facts for now.
When explaining keno to amateurs, some gaming experts compare it to the lottery. This is at least in some ways correct, in that each game is basically numerical. Yet to take that comparison too far will be to downplay the many unique characteristics that make keno so interesting. Not like bingo, keno gamblers have the ability to select the numbers for every card.
Keno cards have a total of 80 numbers, but the gambler is given an additional level of personal responsibility by being able to choose as many (or as few) numbers as he or she feels they need. And it doesn’t take a keno superstar to figure out how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all of your chosen numbers with a good oldball point pen like you used when you were in school.
After you’ve picked your numbers, carry your keno card back to the keno pit manager at the keno booth. The keno pit manager will record those numbers and then hand you a receipt. Don’t misplace this (potentially) lucrative piece of paper! Even if the clerk remembers your mug and would like to help out, without a winning slip on you, you will be given exactly $.00 for your winning card.
And there you have strategy #1: always make sure to keep your keno receipt. Let’s move to something a little bit more useful, ok?
Once you’ve picked your numbers, settle into a nice keno booth and see the action unfold on the screen. That’s where the winning numbers appear for us. If you marked winners, mark your card aptly. Sake care not to take your time, or sit there congratulating yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You really want to get up to the keno stand to redeem your winnings, and then a new drawing will surely get going within a few minutes.
Strategy number 2: always make it back to the keno booth on time!
Assuming you can’t trust yourself to make that five-minute margin each time, you always retain the option of purchasing a "multi-race" ticket. These include the same set of your chosen numbers on anywhere from two to 20 tickets. When the max amount of rounds (matching the number of tickets) is completed, you should then get off your lazy rump and go redeem your winnings.
Another option is recognized as a "stray and play" keno card, which commonly lets you make number picks for 30 keno rounds or more. Gosh, you can take a Swedish massage and not have to worry about getting back in time to redeem your winnings. Most "stray and play" game tickets are good for up to a whole year after it’s bought!
So now you have learned several necessary techniques for winning keno. If you are a discerning gambler, they might appear to be quite obvious. However, it will never hurt to brush up on the basic tactics, and if you are a newbie gambler, every tiny bit of direction will help make your keno wagering more exciting.
