Keno Methods That Work

It will not ordinarily be deemed the most fun game in the arena of gaming, but keno has massive amounts of dedicated followers. And it should! It’s a consistently entertaining lottery-type game that’s easy to play, abundantly available in loads of alternate variations, and one that may return millions of dollars for those who master its heaps of subtle rules. But let’s start with the basic rules here.
When describing keno to newcomers, some betting connoisseurs compare it to bingo. This is at least nearly correct, in that both games are essentially numerical. But to carry that comparison too far is likely to be to devalue the countless unique characteristics that make keno so compelling. Unlike bingo, keno gamblers have the power to pick the numbers for each and every card.
Keno cards have a total of 80 numbers, but the user is granted an increased level of personal responsibility by being able to select as numerous (or as few) numbers as he wants. And it doesn’t take a super genius to ascertain how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all of your chosen numbers with a standard#2 pencil like you had when you were in third grade.
Now that you’ve picked your numbers, take the game card back to the clerk at the keno booth. The girl will record your numbers and then give you a receipt. Make sure no to misplace this (potentially) lucrative piece of paper! Even if the clerk remembers your face and wants help out, without a winning receipt in hand, you will get precisely $.00 for your time spent.
And there you have strategy numero uno: always take care to keep your keno ticket. Let us go on to something a little more complex, yes?
After you’ve picked out your numbers, settle into a comfortable keno booth and see the action unfold on the keno monitor. This is where the winning numbers show up in lights. If you picked winning numbers, mark your card appropriately. Be sure not to move to slowly, or sit there praising yourself for too great a length of time. You really want to get back to the keno booth to get your winnings, and then a new drawing will almost certainly begin within five minutes.
Strategy number 2: always make it back to the keno stand on time!
Assuming you can’t trust yourself to make that 5 minute deadline each time, you always have the option of buying a "multi-race" ticket. These include the very same set of your chosen numbers on anywhere from 2 to 20 cards. When the max amount of games (matching the amount of tickets) is completed, you should then get off your lazy bum and go retrieve your winnings.
Another alternative is known as a "stray and play" keno card, which commonly lets you make number picks for 30 games or more. Hell, you can take a world tour and not have to worry about getting back in time to collect your winnings. Most "stray and play" slips are good for up to a whole year after it’s purchased!
And now you have learned several essential techniques for winning keno. If you are an experienced user, they may appear to be stupidly obvious. However, it does not hurt to bone up on the fundamentals, and if you are a new player, every tiny bit of advice will help make your keno wagering more entertaining.
