Keno Tactics That Win

It might not ordinarily be thought of as the most lucrative game in the realm of wagering, but keno has millions and millions of devout enthusiasts. And so it should! It’s a constantly thrilling lotto-style game that’s simple to play, abundantly available in several alternate formats, and one that can pay out millions of dollars for gamblers who learn its heaps of subtle rules. But let’s begin with the basics for now.

When describing keno to novices, some gambling masters compare it to the lottery. This is at least in part apt, in that both games are fundamentally numerical. However, to take that comparison too far is likely to be to think too little of the many unique traits that make keno so interesting. Unlike bingo, keno users have the power to choose the numbers for every card.

Keno cards have a total of eighty numbers, but the player is granted an extra degree of personal responsibility by being able to pick as many (or as few) numbers as he or she wants. And it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to determine how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all your chosen numbers with a normal#2 pencil like you used when you were in school.

Now that you’ve selected your numbers, take your keno card back to the keno pit manager at the keno stand. The clerk will record your numbers and then give you a receipt. Make sure no to lose this (potentially) lucrative bit of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers your pretty face and would like to help out, without a winning receipt with you, you will be given precisely $.00 for your actions.

And there you have strategy #1: always be sure to keep your keno receipt. Let us get on to something a tiny bit more complex, ok?

Once you’ve marked your numbers, get into a comfortable keno booth and see the action take place on the video monitor. This is where the winning numbers are displayed for us. If you selected winners, mark your card appropriately. Be sure not to take your time, or sit there congratulating yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You are required to get back to the keno booth to collect your winnings, and then a new round of keno will most likely get going within five minutes.

Strategy number two: always go back to the keno stand on time!

Since you do not trust yourself to make that five-minute deadline each and every time, you always retain the option of buying a "multi-race" card. These include the self same set of your chosen numbers on anywhere from 2 to 20 tickets. When the max number of games (fitting the amount of tickets) is played out, you should then get off your numb bum and go get your winnings.

Still another option is referred to as a "stray and play" keno card, which commonly lets you make number choices for thirty games or more. Hell, you can take an ocean cruise and not have to get uptight about getting back in time to retrieve your winnings. Most "stray and play" game cards are good for up to a whole year after you by it!

And now you have learned a couple necessary techniques for winning keno. If you are an advanced gambler, they may seem to be very obvious. Still, it does not hurt to bone up on the basic practices, and if you are a beginner user, every tiny bit of direction will help make your keno playing time more captivating.
